How does CareLink work?
We are a platform that connects qualified caregivers with families looking for caregivers for their loved ones that might need ADL or nursing services. ADL (Activities of Daily Living) covers essential personal care tasks such as eating, dressing, and hygiene.
How do I start my search?
The first step is to add our LINE Official Account. From there, you can submit a request detailing your needs, and we will begin the matching process.
What info do I need to provide?
To find a good match, we need:\n1. Patient Profile (condition, age, gender)\n2. Preferred date and time slots\n3. Service location\n4. Type of ADL/Nursing services needed\n5. Medical history\n6. Special requirements
Is service available in my area?
Currently, we primarily provide service in the Greater Bangkok area. Please contact us to check specific coverage for other regions.
How are caregivers vetted?
All caregivers must pass a rigorous screening process:\n- Identity verification (Thai ID)\n- Criminal background check\n- Verification of nursing/caregiving certificates\n- Skills assessment and interview
Are they licensed nurses?
We have both Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), Registered Nurses (RN), and certified caregivers (NA/CG). You can choose the level of qualification based on your patient's medical needs.
Can I see proof of certification?
Yes, upon matching, you will receive a profile card of the caregiver which includes their verified credentials and certifications.
Can I request specific skills?
Yes, you can request specific skills such as dementia care, post-stroke recovery, tube feeding (NGT), or suctioning when submitting your booking request.
Can I choose the caregiver myself?
Yes, we will provide you with a selection of suitable candidates based on your requirements, and you can select the one you prefer.
Can I interview them first?
Generally, we do not facilitate pre-interviews to protect privacy and speed up the process. However, you can review their detailed profile, ratings, and reviews. For long-term bookings, a paid trial session is recommended.
Booking & Payments
How do I confirm a booking?
Once you select a caregiver, we will send you a booking summary via LINE. You confirm by making the payment through our secure platform.
How is pricing determined?
Pricing depends on the caregiver's qualification (Nurse vs. Assistant) and the complexity of care. Rates can be hourly or daily (shift-based). You will see the final price before confirming.
Are there hidden fees?
No. The price quoted includes the caregiver's fee and our platform service fee. There are no hidden subscription costs.
How do I pay?
We accept bank transfers and QR code payments securely through our system. You should never pay the caregiver directly in cash.
What is the cancellation policy?
- >24 hours notice: 100% Refund (Unlimited).\n- 12-24 hours notice: Free reschedule/cancel once per month.\n- <12 hours notice: No refund (100% fee).
Can I book recurring appointments?
Yes, you can book the same caregiver for recurring daily or weekly slots, subject to their availability.
Safety & Support
What if the caregiver is sick?
If a caregiver cancels due to illness, we will immediately inform you and try our best to find a qualified replacement for that shift.
What if I am unsatisfied?
We offer a Satisfaction Guarantee. If you are unhappy with the service, report it within 24 hours. Valid claims will be compensated via CareLink Credit for future use.
What about medical emergencies?
CareLink is a non-emergency service. In case of a medical emergency while the caregiver is on duty, please call 1669 (Emergency Services) immediately.
How are complaints handled?
We take complaints seriously. Contact us via LINE, and our support team will investigate the issue, mediate between parties, and take appropriate action.
Are caregivers insured?
Caregivers are independent professionals. While we verify them, CareLink acts as an intermediary. We recommend families have their own home/medical insurance.
Joining CareLink
How can I apply?
You can apply by adding our LINE Official Account and selecting "Apply as Caregiver." You will be guided to submit your profile and documents.
What are the requirements?
You must be a Thai citizen, aged 20+, with a valid ID. You need a certificate in caregiving (NA/CG/PN/RN) or relevant experience, and no criminal record.
Do I need to submit documents?
Yes. Mandatory documents include: National ID, House Registration, Educational/Training Certificates, and a recent criminal record check.
Is there a fee to sign up?
No, signing up and creating a profile on CareLink is completely free. We only deduct a service fee when you successfully complete a job.
How long does approval take?
Once all documents are submitted, verification usually takes 1-3 business days.
How do I find jobs?
Our system matches you with families based on your skills and location. We will send job offers directly to your LINE.
How am I notified?
You will receive instant notifications via LINE when a new job matches your profile. You can accept or decline based on your availability.
When do I get paid?
Payments are processed weekly or bi-weekly directly to your registered bank account, after the service is completed and verified.
How much is the service fee?
CareLink deducts a small percentage platform fee from the total booking amount to cover marketing, support, and system maintenance. The exact rate will be shown in your contract.
Can I set my own rates?
Standard rates are suggested based on qualifications to ensure competitiveness, but experienced caregivers may request higher tiers.
Role & Responsibilities
Am I an employee?
No, you are an independent contractor (freelancer). CareLink is a platform that connects you with clients.
Who handles taxes?
As an independent contractor, you are responsible for filing your own personal income tax (Withholding tax certificate 50 bis will be provided).
How to make my profile attractive?
Upload a professional, friendly photo. clearly list all your skills (e.g., suction, wound care), and maintain a high rating by being punctual and polite.
What are my responsibilities?
You must arrive on time, perform the agreed care duties safely, treat the patient with respect, and update the family/platform on the patient's status.
What if I cancel a job?
Frequent cancellations affect your rating and visibility. Last-minute cancellations without a valid medical reason may lead to suspension from the platform.
Platform Support
Disagreement with client?
Stay calm and polite. Contact CareLink support immediately via LINE. We will mediate the situation. Do not argue with the client directly.
Is there training?
We occasionally partner with training institutions to offer refresher courses. Check our announcements for updates.
How to update profile?
You can request profile updates (new skills, address change) by messaging our admin team on LINE.
